ABSTRACT
Ultrasonography is commonly used in the diagnosis and management of kidney-related diseases. Most of the renal masses are found incidentally by ultrasound, computed tomography or magnetic resonance imaging. The renal mass is divided into a cystic mass and a solid mass according to the nature of the mass. The renal mass is also divided into malignant and benign masses. This review demonstrates the characteristic of renal mass based on ultrasound imaging.
